Who I Serve & How I Work

Who I serve

I am a LGBTQIA-affirming therapist, and I work with adults, couples, families, and teens (14 and up) of all identities. Some of my focus areas include people who are:

  • Navigating life transitions, identity shifts, and threshold experiences, such as:

    • Adjusting to premarital preparation, divorce, blended families, empty nests, or retirement;

    • Moving through quarter-life, parenthood, midlife or elderhood;

    • Coping with grief, loss, and death.

  • Struggling in their relationship with food or their body, such as emotional eating, overeating, and body image issues.

  • Seeking more ease and honesty in relationships with partners, parents, or adult children.

How I work

I integrate a mind-body-spirit approach to meet you where you are. Our work together may look like a blend of:

  • Mindfulness and somatic (body-based) practices, attending to how experiences and stories live in you and communicate through sensations, emotions, thoughts, and behaviors.

  • Working with “parts” of yourself to explore inner conflicts, fears, and needs that influence how you live and relate to others.

  • Experiential approaches, incorporating creative, symbolic, ritual, or movement practices.

  • Exploring your early life, relationship dynamics, identities, and patterns that shape you and your experience of the world.
