Who I Serve & How I Work
Who I serve
I am a LGBTQIA-affirming therapist, and I work with adults, couples, families, and teens (14 and up) of all identities. Some of my focus areas include people who are:
Navigating life transitions, identity shifts, and threshold experiences, such as:
Adjusting to premarital preparation, divorce, blended families, empty nests, or retirement;
Moving through quarter-life, parenthood, midlife or elderhood;
Coping with grief, loss, and death.
Struggling in their relationship with food or their body, such as emotional eating, overeating, and body image issues.
Seeking more ease and honesty in relationships with partners, parents, or adult children.
How I work
I integrate a mind-body-spirit approach to meet you where you are. Our work together may look like a blend of:
Mindfulness and somatic (body-based) practices, attending to how experiences and stories live in you and communicate through sensations, emotions, thoughts, and behaviors.
Working with “parts” of yourself to explore inner conflicts, fears, and needs that influence how you live and relate to others.
Experiential approaches, incorporating creative, symbolic, ritual, or movement practices.
Exploring your early life, relationship dynamics, identities, and patterns that shape you and your experience of the world.
